I think you need a FF Keyboard with a CAPS KEY and puntuation
keys.

Oh! .... and a browser with a spell checker!

I'm at a stage where mostly i'm shooting in the dark, festivals and whatnot. Without a FF camera in 2015 i'll have to leave pentax, i'll miss it but I'm so limited by poor high ISO performance.

do you have a K5?

Hang on, I thought the K5 was highly regarded for its low light high ISO performance, better than the competition?

It certainly is Nigel. So's the K30.

It depends what you mean by competition. There are cameras with larger sensors and lower pixel density which trounce the low light iso performance of the K5. In relative terms the K5 is very good, but in absolute terms there are big improvements available. Hopefully the Pentax full frame will provide a sensible balance between pixel count and low light noise.

Well I for one don't really see a need for a larger camera .more and more I stick the MX-1 in the pocket of my shorts when I take the dogs for a walk and I'm happy .
I'm off to the UK in October and the MX-1 will come, I'm very much into traveling light ... If I had loads of cash I would quite like to upgrade the K100 but I don't think I'd like anything bigger...Jeff...

I think there's an interest in the larger sensor format in compact style bodies as well, and other types of system other than DSLR. I won't be looking to that myself ... With the BG4 grip attached the K7 is only just big enough for my tastes. If I'm going to upgrade to FF I at least expect to get a bigger camera ... That way I'll end up looking even more PRO and very very cool when out shooting!

Precisely. Better than the competition, but I need publication quality shots at more than ISO 6400 and from what I gather the K3 is no better than the K5 (or close enough)

The high ISO performance of the K-3 gets progressively worse than the K-5 above ISO6400. I was really looking forward to the K-3, having had 4 K-5s now, but was very disappointed as high ISO performance is something I find important
