£250 is a decent price so you obviously sold it too cheap, tbh the post just looks like sour grapes now.

You sell it at a low price that's your look out, no one elses. I have sold stuff and have seen it go for more 6 months later but so what, I was happy to get my asking price (and so were you at the time).

The other forum has nothing to do with this one ... unless you know something I don't.

To be honest, I'm slightly relieved not to have won it as I think that the seller has been misleading in their listing - it's hardly clear that he is already the third owner of this lens.

I fully appreciate that there is no rule against dealing via PM when others have expressed interest, but I think it's at the least bad form to not register interest when someone else is clearly already considering a fairly sizable purchase.

Given all that, perhaps buyer and seller were perfect for each other.
