The kit is located in Ohio

Both those lenses will only work in crop mode on the K-1.

might explain why artie is in Ohio and camera is in San Antonio; my ebay profile might have me either in North Wales, Holland or SW London....the US of A is a SMALL country....

Again with apologies to artie , but my understanding of the classified section here on what is a small forum is that established members can sell items amongst themselves. I have no problem in making a payment of several hundred pounds to a long standing forum member for an item in the expectation that it will be delivered.

There is no way in the world I will deal with a member who has joined simply to sell product. Sorry artie, I am just cautious.

To be fair, there have been several very new members who have arrived here to sell their late father's/mother's outfits and we have been able to pick up some great bargains.

It is always a matter of caveat emptor though, so caution is advisable, as it is everywhere online.

And don't forget the import taxes!

John, I think given the amount of internet scammers around I think you are taking a cavalier approach. Look at how many spammers we get every day.

Why not have a system in place that members have to have a certain amount of time on here or number of posts before allowing to post in classifieds ?

No chance of that happening at all.

Perhaps artie84 could explain why the camera, etc was sold by him on Australian eBay on 19th October but is advertised here on 26th November? I’m sure there must be a valid explanation but I can also understand Peter’s concerns.
