FS: Pentax K-3 with battery grip

For sale is a Pentax K-3 DSLR with D-BG5 battery grip.

The camera is boxed and comes complete with strap, body cap, hot shoe cover, eyecup and ME viewfinder cover, 32GB SanDisk Extreme memory card, Pentax D-LI90 battery and charger, software CD and Operating Manual. This is my second K-3 bought specifically for use with a Pentax 150-450 lens (since sold) so the shutter count is only 2078 and the camera is in excellent condition. The body is mainly unmarked with just a tiny amount of wear on the Menu button. The LCD screen and viewfinder are clear. It has no mechanical or electrical issues. Firmware is up-to-date version 1.40. Overall it is in great condition and I would be preaching to the converted to mention what a superb camera the K-3 is

The body is being sold complete with D-BG5 battery grip Ė essential (IMO) for hand-holding the 150-450 lens and of great benefit when using any longer focal length prime or zoom lenses, also usefully providing a duplicate set of controls for vertical format shooting. The grip is boxed with Operating Manual and complete with two battery trays for AA and D-LI90 batteries. A compatible Hahnel battery is provided. The grip has the same weather and dust resistance as the K-3 body and is in mint condition.

I would prefer to sell the K-3 and grip together for £350 (firm) to include RM recorded and fully insured delivery.

Not selling as a package so I will split the camera and grip.

£60 for the D-BG5 grip including battery, two trays and RM fully insured delivery.

£270 for the near mint K-5 with all accessories and memory card. RM fully insured delivery.

Well spotted. A senior moment It is definitely a K-3 as shown in the original posted images.

To avoid any misunderstandings could I please just clarify that the reduced price of £250 in response to smcís interest is for the K-3 only.

Referring to my previous post on 16th November, the K-3 is reduced from £270 to £250 but the D-BG5 grip remains at £60. My absolute rock bottom price for camera and grip together is £300.

The K-3 has been SOLD to member smc. Thanks Chris.

The mint condition D-BG5 grip is still available for £60 inc RMSD.

Also still available is the excellent Metz Mecablitz 50-AF1 all-singing all-dancing flash unit in Pentax fit. Please see my separate classified on 7th November.

I would be interested in taking the grip. Unfortunately I cannot send you a PM yet (haven't been here longer than required 30 days after registration). Would you ship it internationaly (to Poland)?

Thank you in advance for answear.

Thanks for your enquiry Coven. Unfortunately the cost of shipping the grip to Poland would probably be disproportionate to the sale price of the grip. If you would be prepared to meet the additional shipping and insuring costs I could look into what they might be.

Yes I know. If you could find out what the delivery cost will be I would be grateful. I don't mind long travel time, so I would prefer the cheapest and safe option posiible. If you could provide a few options that would also be appreciated.

I am away from home today Coven. Tomorrow I will put the grip, in its original packaging, in a slightly larger protective box with bubble wrap then measure and weigh it to use the Royal Mail postage calculator. Then I'll let you know what the cost options are.

Sorry for the delay Coven - I've just had a couple of days of working very long hours. Anyway, I have had a look at shipping costs this morning. To send the boxed and packaged grip to Poland by RM tracked, signed for and fully insured service it would cost £9.45 more than sending the same parcel within the UK. It will also take longer, about 3 - 5 working days.

Adding that extra shipping cost to the £60 sale price and then estimating a Pound/Euro exchange rate, plus the bank's currency conversion fee, the total cost would be around 79 Euros but I could call that 75 Euros. That would be based on payment by PayPal Gift assuming you have access to that. Standard PayPal with buyer protection would add about 2 - 3 Euros to the price to cover their fee.

What do you think?
