Frosted Feather

Messing about with pixel shift after seeing the recent discussions on the forum, I actually missed the focus on the feather (I got the background mud) but was quite pleased with the result....

Both, but I do feel the colour version adds helpful contrast, while remaining discreet enough to not interfere with reading the image. Don't know if that's very clear... Very different results at any rate - painting vs engraving, in a way. Lovely.
All these frosty / icy images should be motivating me to get out (early in the morning to boot), but gosh, I hate cold temperatures with a vengeance...
