Just saying hello.

I found this site by accident and was so thankful to find a site NOT taken over or dedicated to Nikon and/or Canon (they make good products but.....).

I have a K100DS and simply put, I like it. It suits me. It works well. I am a learner and I can enjoy using it. The only thing stopping it taking great photos is the the loose nut holding it. My youngest boy uses it and gets some good shots and if it is easy for him to start enjoying photography at an early age you can't ask for anything more.

I live just north of Brisbane, Queensland. Anyone else from my neck of the woods?

Glad to hear you are enjoying your K100D Super - it's a fine camera. In many ways I prefer its handling to the K10D.

Thanks Clarky. The lens I am getting is mainly for my young fella. He loves to take shots of bugs, creatures etc so I figure it might be something he can enjoy and learn with.

I might use it sometimes as well.........
