from adobeRGB to sRGB

It was said here, that photos posted should be in sRGB for avoiding problems. link

My camera has been switched to adobeRGB. How can I make the photos suitable for posting here.
I am using GIMP.

I don't know GIMP, but looking on Google and following the first hit it looks like there is the command "Convert to Color profile" in the Image > Mode menu.

(I felt obliged to have a look as it was me making that remark.:blush

It's not a big deal, though for the orange competition it could make a difference in how saturated an image appears.
But you can easily check yourself if there is a difference when looking at the image in the GIMP or opening it with your internet browser.

Went crazy looking for it

As I said, I do not see difference.

I do see difference between my laptop screen and outer (additional) screen.

You won't (generally) see any difference in GIMP (or Photoshop). These are colour managed applications.
The problem comes when you save an image for he web (or to email to someone) and they are not colour managed. Most applications assume the image is in sRGB. Consequently if you save an AdobeRGB image and they open it assuming it's sRGB the image will look very washed out and pale.

AdobeRGB can handle a wider range of colours compared to sRGB. I usually work in AdobeRGB and then convert to sRGB before saving for web or emailing
