This rose is five years old, and is the first time it has had more than two flowers on it. K 35 f2.

Nice shot, I would have darkened the background slightly in PP if I were you.

Snappy I didnt notice the background all that much when the photo was posted, but looking closely it is not as shallow dof as it should be, checked exif it is the K55 f1.8 not 35 (my eyesight)

Gareth hate to disapoint you but in Oz we have better light, it was shot about 2pm in natural sunlight, I still havnt come to terms with PP, otherwise would have taken out Brown spots on right hand side, but would leave all the rest in, should have cropped the top a little.
