Yes, that is a good point
Since i have seen the image and the area itself I knew, but looking at the photograph the only giveaway is the people in the distance. The stalls look about three, but yes as i said, there were loads!
Thanks for the tip
Itll make me think about depth and related topics more carefully next time.

So what does GCSE photography involve then? We didn't have anything quite so interesting when I was at school!
And congratulations on getting accepted into the Pentax Photo Gallery - you have a pretty good eye for photos but this just isn't one of your better ones imo...
“We must avoid however, snapping away, shooting quickly and without thought, overloading ourselves with unnecessary images that clutter our memory and diminish the clarity of the whole.” - Henri Cartier-Bresson -
I dont see a picture or is everyone critiquing a small white square with a red cross in it?
Almost two minutes for me before the entire image was done.
For gcse photography, I have to do 2 projects (minimum, but im doin BIG projects) and then an exam
Infact, I got the exam today, a selection of question topics and ways to answer them
I'm going to answer "Detail", based on Andreas Gursky, and landscape photographers like Ansel Adams. Im also going to consider photomontage artists like hockney (his joiners) and a woman called Michelle Molyneux
I got it all sorted already hah.
The exam is 4 weeks prep and then a final piece.

The friday market, in Ras Al Khaimah. One of many photos taken for my gcse photography project, which i took on holiday. More to follow, but I took over 1200 in 6 days there, so it will take me a while to sift through.
This place was interesting, there were basically 4 stalls, carpets, plants, fruits, and woodwork, except each was replicated to form about a 200m stretch of shops both sides of the road. Infact, later on I walked past two more people in nearly exactly the same pose
Exif data is in the file, if you use firefox with exif viewer or whatever, but its K100D with 18-55 Kit.
Location was http://tinyurl.com/3bkolc roughly. I think, I'm not too sure, my parents were driving.
I looked around for some pentax gear, but I didnt find any stores while I was there (I didnt hunt for specific photography shops or anything, I shouldve researched before I went). All I could find was canikon and sigma with canikon mounts, but the prices were about 50% of here
