Sounds good.

I happen to have been here before, just over a year ago .

However I'm sure I can come up with a nice new interpretation for this competition.

Thanks for sharing the photo Glyn. My 5yr. thought it was an "Eye Spy" picture and we spent about 15 minuts trying to stump each other , what good fun . As for you comming up with a new interpretation I'm not worried, your skill and participation never disappoint .

Am I right in thinking that an image shot on 28th of December is valid? i.e before the start date of the competition?

Unfortunately no.

The photograph has to have been taken between the time the judge sets the competition and the closing date.

I am very impressed, not only with your entry but also with the fact that you still have some Dinky and Corgi model cars.

Mine went many decades ago, courtesy of a clearout by my parents

I'm glad you like it. I only have a few old Dinky & Corgis and even then very few of them are my original toys but this is certainly one of my favourites. In the photo I have carefully patched a couple of places (along the bonnet edge) where the paint has been knocked off .

I suspect I have not quite met the competition requirements because you can see the whole object but I wanted some context and tongue-in-cheek could possibly just about argue that the separated wheels are masking off just a little of the host object .

I'm hoping, perhaps, to see the insides of some glorious timepiece from yourself .
