As usual, here is a thread for discussing the theme. I might tune in to this until a first entry is submitted. After that I will not read it, so if and when questions arise, send a PM to me.

Message for judithAnn..... you will do better by posting a picture at its maximum permitted pixel width which is 800 on the longest side.

Your posts are a a bit on the small side to be properly appreciated.

Yes I am being told this in other forums as well.....however I do not understand why this is happening... I am taking my pictures of my personal blog. The only way I can post them here on the forum is to have an ULR address. Now maybe the blog compresses is compressining them???? If that is the case then how else can I post the pictures. Can I upload it to the main gallery and trafere it to here????

I am told that my pictuers in the gallery are the right size, and thoughs I upload right off my computer....not from a blog site.

I await your help my friends.

As Ever, Judith Ann

Okay.....I am going to run a quick test here. Let see if I can get a full size one?????

Can you see the picture...all I see is an red boxed 'X'???

If I click on it and open properties...it is there? I tried to transfere it from the gallery.

This stuff is a bit heavy for me...me thinks

I can't see the image in your post. Is this what you're trying to do ?

This one is 1000 wide as you uploaded I suspect. Add an 800 wide to the gallery (maximum size for fortnightly competition) otherwise 1000 is fine for general uploads.

To link to it, go to your photo in the gallery & click on the photo so that it shows the large version. Then right click on the large version & select "properties" to find the url of that large image. (Remember that 800 along the longest side is the largest allowed for the fortnightly comp)

I hope you followed ok. Bob

Hang on a minute, what's going on here?! When it's night I wait almost two weeks for three entries, and when it's fruit three appear in less than 36 hours!

Funny thing is, I think I took my entry tonight too. At this rate, there'll be a bumper harvest (pun intended) for this round.

That's because fruits tends to grow faster during daytime, than during the night.

Nights seem to be shorter and buzy

Actually, spring making first fine steps in Estonia at last. I have so much to do in daytime (no time for camera) so that yesterday I made at last my first night shots with my tripod.
If my "being late" continues in the same rate, I will post my Fruit pic in autumn

I like the first one of this batch the most. But........Your entry tops them both.
I love the simplicity and clarity of the pears. I just want to take a bite.
Strong entry Mike, well done.

Martin.

Martin.

Thanks Martin. In fact the pears are rather tasteless sadly as we bought quite a few of them. I prefer Conference to whatever these are. It was damned hard getting a good focus on the apple, I guess the AF didn't like the red too much.
