Im maybe not supposed to but I prefer the second one... !! Though I do like both. Really want to give this long exposure stuff a go.. Well Done Gareth.. Keep posting them...Love your work..

I particularly like the first one - I think that you've chosen a really good exposure time for it. Just a suggestion, but have you tried cropping it a bit at the bottom to remove the yellow Lichen? I find my eye drawn to it, and away from the steps themselves.

I like them both, the air of mystery in the first shot, and the movement of the cliff in relation to that of the steps in the second. Well done.

Love these, like they're really good.
I'd probably keep the water above, so just crop the lichen out of the first shot.
I don't mind it, but when I saw your comments I went back and thought yeah, might be a bit better without the distraction.
