I bought a Katzeye screen and have never regretted it. Make a huge difference to using manual lenses.

I bought it second hand so I am unsure exactly which version of Katzeye it is.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I recently bought a k20d from a member off this forum and it came fitted with a katzeye screen (P/N: PK10DP, Split Prism with MicroPrism Collar, OptiBrite Treatment, Thirds Grid). its like using my old 35mm slr again ,highly recommended.
regards, tim.

I would say that if you want a new screen you need to buy something like the Katzeye which is made for the job, rather than one of the cut-down 35mm screens you can find cheaply from far eastern ebay sellers. I bought one of the latter, used it for a month, then went back to standard as it was just too dark for me. I think the main problem was that the split prism dominated the view, as obviously after the screen is cropped it occupies a larger percentage of the viewfinder space.
