Some of the various retailers do "show offers"
£10 £20 off tripod heads, tripods etc...
Really it's sometimes just luck, but atleast you can try/test item/'s out.

I saved about £100 on my K5 last year, based on then the market price.... I'm hoping this year for a good deal on a lens (or two!). But you have to shop around - and don't assume that the price shown is the best they can do!

I was thinking of attending the Focus on Imagine exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham in March.
After performing a search of the listed trade stands I noticed Pentax are not listed as attending.
I am looking to expand my Lens Range and I'm also interested in getting an alternative tripod head. Do you think it would be worth my while attending to see what is out there?
Also, are the lenses (Sigma, Tamron etc) and tripod heads that are on sale on the day at the various retailers going to be any cheaper than if I buy via mail order?
