I know a lot of people hate seagulls and look on them as vermin but I think they are quite a graceful bird.

Impressive set Mike, is the vignetting in no1 deliberate?
No2 is my favorite, like the dof.
What are your impressions of the 18-138? particularly interested in AF speed.

Yup, totally deliberate .. added with Lightroom.

I used to have a Tamron 24-135mm and thouht it was a fantastic lens then dropped it. Been looking for something along those lines for a long time and finally Pentax have bought out a lens I really wanted. AF is fast (although not the speed demon I thought it would be after reading reviews) but it's nice and compact, WR and a pleasure to use.

Still think it's £100 overpriced though.
