Wonderful! Spring must be on it's way. They fly over us too, usually at night and are incredibly noisy. It's too cloudy here to see them but I have heard a few.

There was a big departure from the Pyrenees on Thursday - 35,000 birds and a second one yesterday morning 70,000 birds. So you might get some today.

Thanks for the comments. It is an incredible spectacle. A photo can't do justice to the sight of wave after wave coming in. We laugh in the face of the wildebeest.

Actually, you were right. Just a handful......well, a few, anyway, went over this afternoon. Was watching the rugby, so wasn't ready with the camera. Waited for more, but nothing happened.
