Just checked it out and it's only for the 645Z, no updating required if only using the K3.

Thanks though Percy

It's not all that clear looking at the site.

They quote changes for the 'card' v1.00.01 for the 645Z

Then above that they quote V00.01.00.02 'contents' which presumably covers the K-3 as well.

True... They're trying to confuse us!

Has anyone had any success using their Flucard with Windows Phone 8.1? I seem to be able to do some things, but do not get a live view image?

To get a live view image you have to shoot in jpeg because the transfer of the raw file takes too long. It still takes them you simply can't see it.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have any official troubleshooting/support for Windows users."

I would suggest trying another web-browser on Windows Phone 8.1

e.g. Chrome, etc

(If the browser uses the "WebKit" core to handle HTML you will probably have a solution.)

I don't have a Windows phone, but I have connected using a Windows PC (I assume they will be somewhat similar). I have only had full success using Chrome though - other browsers seem to be unable to show live view, although you can still operate the shutter and view images (only JPG though). Firefox works on Android though. The system is designed to be viewed in portrait mode, that way you get full access to all the controls, and can disengage live view before closing the browser (otherwise the camera needs to be turned off to completely disconnect). But when using a browser on PC, you only have landscape mode, so you do miss out on some controls (but a Windows phone wouldn't have that issue I guess).

You can get a Live view with RAW (I just tested), but you won't be able to view the captured image. When I use the card, I send RAW to Card 1, and JPG to card 2.

Hope this helps.

Only this afternoon I renewed my acquaintance with the flu card and was hoping to connect to my brand new Nokia 930 but alas none of the supported browsers are available on a windows phone and it is anyone's guess whether they will ever be. I am a little disappointed - one of the factors in the purchase was the 16MP camera ( they say 21MP but it is actually 16DNG + 5 JPG). I have not used the camera exhaustively but initial impressions are favourable as it seems to expose extremely well and is pretty sharp - just a pity that you can not get the think to work with the Pentax Flu Card.
