lovely treatment but can't decide between petals and painterly petals as to what is my favourite.

Very interesting. 1, 2 and the last are definitely my favourite. Not sure I like no3.

The last one is really dramatic.

thanks for looking and comments. David, it took me a while to get the lens at what I considered a fair price as you do see some very ambitious pricing at times. I was also fortunate to get the matching 18F extension tube to make it 1:1 from its native 1:2.
I like the last one best myself and find when you get the right subject the Solarise effect (in Colour Efex) can give some interesting results, Painterly Petals was with Topaz Impression and Petals was Silver Efex. 1 &3 were just playing with hue/saturation in PS mainly

I think these are excellent, it is good to see some originality on the flowers theme. Painterly petals is probably my favourite, but I do like all of them.

thanks for all the comments. i think with flowers a run through all the presets is fun and it does not take long to do. if anything looks interesting i will play with the adjustments until i think "that will do". no planning and would probably not be able to replicate it as i don't make notes on what i do, have been times when i wish i had
