I hope this is the right forum. I was on South bank and I saw this guy sat on, nothing really. It was very fascinating and I asked him how he did it and he said it was top secret. I thought I would share it with you here, I hope you didn't mine.

I crawled underneath him, but still couldn't see how it was done. Amazing through, har har!

Amazing Louise. Not the sort of thing you would normally come across in Salisbury or Durham.

Excellent images. He is clearly sitting on something but perhaps looking up his left sleeve might have given you more of a clue as to how it's done.

I strongly suspect that the 'stick' is firmly fixed to a plate beneath the carpet and his 'chair' is inside his coat.

Good illusion though.

Great photos!

It is well known that London cabbies won't go south of the Thames after dark. With this sort of thing going on, one can't blame them.

Louise - there's so much more than just "Goldy" on the South Bank in that area, so I bet you have a few more photos there!

That last shot looks like the same guy. It was a bit 'freaky'

Got these bubble image's (dunno if they any good) perhaps I should have stayed a bit longer but I was with a disabled group who were more interested in their McDonald's burgers, then anything else. I throw my hands up in horror at junk food.

Yup that's how it will be done. Great stuff though.

I've been shooting along the South Bank. Excellent location for people shots too.
