Much better looking format now. I like the easy to read specs and the whole layout is very easy to navigate. Thumbs up for the update.

Nice photostream by the way.

Problem is they had just got the old version working properly and then forced this one on us which was pretty awful for a while. Even now if your using IE11 and Windows 7 the slideshow feature zooms and crops your photos. The work round is to right click on the slideshow icon and choose "Open" from the drop down menu then it loads the old version of slideshow. You shouldn't have to be doing this with what's supposed to be a slicker system. I'm paying at the moment so I don't get the adverts but not for much longer if they keep messing up with what works OK then I'll cancel. Problem is Photobucket did much the same and the adverts and porn pop links got very offensive and aggressive. I couldn't risk my grand children seeing them and moved to Flickr which up to about 6 months ago was pretty good but now I just don't no what to expect next from Flickr.

Yes, that's what annoys me and confuses many. I'm not with the Flickr any more any way, after they decided to get rid of Gmail users and made their photo gallery only available for their Yahoo account customers. Well, their business so they do what they want. But how come they came up with those awkward names "Flickr" and "Yahoo", puzzles me. OK, never mind, it's their business, so they do what they want.

I like Flickr, but then I don't see any ads as I still have a pro account...there were a few bugs when they changed it again, but they seem to have been ironed out now.

I don't have a Pro account, but I don't see any adverts on Flickr either! I'm not sure why this is but I'm quite happy about it!

I'm relatively new to flickr and never saw what all the fuss was about when they first changed it. I too got sick of the ads over on photobucket, far too intrusive.

Same here. But I do use an "ad blocker" as recommended by the venerable Smeggy. It does work wonders on all sites.

It takes ages to upload, even if files are reduced in size, but I do store all of my reasonable images on Flickr. Hope they don't go bust...
Best wishes,

Andrew

Dear god yes, Photobucket is accurately named as it's only useful as a sort of 'bucket' for images which you want to link to but don't want cluttering up your Flickr stream....

Always liked Flickr. Have a pro account just to avoid the ads!
