If you can remember the hyperlink to your photostream, I think it "bypasses" your requirement to login. That being the case, click on YOU (thelittle dropdown arrow), YOUR ACCOUNT, then there may be clues as to what email account you used to register. Once you see your login email address, try logging in as normal by inserting what you think is the registered password, and if that doesn't work, click to request a password reminder/reset password.

Your hyperlink will look something like: http://www.flickr.com/photos/(your name)

I'm not the only daft one then.

They have given me a new id which will only become active 24 hours after they gave it to me. I have noted this one down, must remember not to delete it

They are defintely not user friendly and why this linking to Facebook and Twitter. Not everybody wants to use them.

Register an alternative e-mail as well, it doesnt have to be yours, just one you can access easily. Common practice now precisely because it is easy to forget. I also keep myself logged in for Flickr - I dont use the Yahoo address for anything else so there is no security issue.

I use a small index cards to note down all passwords etc for every site that I need to use such a thing.

For the security question - I use "look on the card"

Might be unsafe if someone breaks in, but that's probably the least of my worries then
