And they can't get stuck on the hot shoe like the Pentax AF540 sometimes does.

It is an easy fix Matt, but you really shouldn't have to. Even on the Metz (I have the 48 AF-1) you have to make sure you wind the locking ring right up to the flashes body to make sure the locking pin is withdrawn properly.

Seeing as my budget is for around £150 might the pentax 360 be my best choice. Has anyone got this flash if so what is your opinion please.

Also you need to be careful with the battery door, its very flimsy and easily broken if not careful.
