Hi, I dont know if anyone has any advise but my popup flash does not seem to be working anymore. If I pop it up the auto focusing doesnt work either and I cannot take a picture. If I put it back down the camera works fine.

I have tried resetting the camera back to factory defaults but that didnt help. Does anyone have any suggestions as I am a bit worried now as I have only had the camera a month or so.

Thanks

Dean.

I guess this isn't a common problem. Doesn't matter now as Curry's have offered to replace the camera. It was really good of the guy as I have had it for over 6 weeks and their policy only covers exchange for 28 days. i am picking it up tommorow night so am well pleased.

You are lucky to get the replacement Dean!!! Especially after you dropped your K-r into the bathwater (don't tell the guy at Currys). Just joking, I know you would not lie about such things.

It is your rights under the sale of goods act. The Curry’s 28 day policy has no relevance if the goods are faulty.

Good to see you had it replaced, without any hassle.

Take care.

Yes, a repair can be offered, and it may be the best option, in some circumstances.

But once you have accepted a repair on an item, you have then lost your rights to a replacement.

Take care.
