hi everyone and merry xmas
i have a problem in that when i take a photo with an external flash connected it does not flash
are my settings wrong i have read the book but nothing
please help

As for your problem it would help to know what model camera and flash

I suspect you have selected a camera mode that is not sync with the flash and your selected shutter speed is to great to fire the flash. Try selecting a speed of 1/125 sec
