My favourite is the second one --- they look like they are melting.

In my opinion, both focus and exposure are spot on. To me the composition in the third photo looks better.

But all shots are beautiful.

I like the second one the best,

Number 1 looks like he has been folded away ready for storage !!

I think I like #1 best. It would be interesting to see a much tighter crop, i.e. flamingo only. (In fact, I have just played with it in Picasa and I like it Would be better, though, to do that when taking the photo.

#2 is great and even more mind boggling when you turn it 180 degrees.

#3 could be a tad brighter and I like the composition least from the three.

Funny birds they are...

thanks for the comments guys, just wish I had a slightly longer lens so I could get in a bit tighter on things like #1. will have to save some money up at a guess.

Prien1 I will try a closer crop and a try to lift #3 I agree now looking at it again its a bit dull.

cheers

I like #1 best too, I wd just crop a wee bit off the top though to draw the eye to the body of the bird more, a bit too much space thats not required.

Very nice shots,
I am thinking that a bit of a stronger composition would make the shots work better.
