It's between 2 and 5 for me.

2 has pleasing colours and gives a good sense of speed.

5 provides the eye with a bit of relief and an area of focus.

It looks like a difficult scene to capture, with awkward leading lines. The two pictures I've picked both demonstrate a bit of intent IMO.
All the gear with no idea

No 5 looks exciting, never would care in what way it was produced or edited, just like it visually
Nice selection and opinions will differ

Distinct difference when the train is on the right side. It looks really good where it fades out just prior to the bridge.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

No idea which is HDR, but I prefer them all after cropping off the concrete at the bottom.

Err.... it's Gritstone!! yer gonna have a lot of passed away stone masons turning in their graves at that comment!!!

I left the bridge in as it shows the top and looks down vertically to the tracks... for me it adds perspective to the image.

No 5 is the HDR.

I also did a stack using the same images... altho it dunna look as good as the HDR one.

Sorry Ian - I hadn't realised that the bridge was made of imitation concrete!
Whatever it was, I would still prefer the images without it!
As always, to each his own.

Cheers.

I like the original no. 5 with the long perspective making an interesting composition. The trackside stuff on a couple of the earlier ones spoil those for me, but a great idea worth pursuing.
