Awesome, very well done! I missed that thread first time round, that is a really fantastic photo I'll even agree with you that the white vignette, normally something I really rather dislike, improves the image.

Edit: thanks Peter! Didn't notice page 2

Huh, strangely enough I've got another one in there! An owl shot. To be honest I don't think this photo is especially good, I much prefer Nass's one, but who am I to argue?

Well done guys

It may be some time before any of mine will stand a chance or be entered for that matter

I know it is just a game but the sense of pride it must give you should be priceless.

Thanks Stuey, it certainly is just a bit of fun, but it's so MUCH fun

It's a competent owl shot, certainly, but it doesn't excite me. I have seen much better shots be it in the PPG or elsewhere.
So while I think there are quite a few shots that would fit nicely in the premiere collection, this is not one. But what the heck.

Congratulations!

I wonder what the criteria are for the Premier gallery? Your owl pic is nice, but I wouldn't have thought it rated being in the top 300 photos on the site? Not meaning to be rude here, BTW, just curious. I wonder if you have to be in the "100 pictures accepted" club to be considered for the Premier Gallery? All very puzzling...!

Oh I completely agree, it's not even MY best owl shot, let alone in the top 300 on PPG. This shot was from a set of four, I had submitted the other three months ago and had them all rejected. I didn't bother with this one because I never thought much of it, but a few weeks ago I had a spare upload slot and added the 4th owl. I think someone at Pentax clicked on the wrong button somewhere

No. My Premiere acceptance was before 100.

Oh well, that blows that idea out of the water!

Cheers, Kris.
