First outing with K-3 3

Having followed the development of the K-3 iii, I gave in to temptation and bought one from MPB. I don't need it, it doesn't have a flippy screen, it's a bit heavier and bulkier than my K-70, but I got it anyway! Incidentally, I see from the Pentax Forum serial number database that it was originally bought new by Malfis, one of our members.

Last Sunday morning was misty and it persisted long enough for a respectable get-out-of-bed and have breakfast time ! All hand held and dickied-up in pp.

1 I was just in time to see the RNLI were preparing for a training session

4 An unusual event - a yacht actually leaving the Marina!

That's the definition of a hobby! And much the same as what happened to me. Give it a while and you'll find it impossible to imagine life without it.

Nice pictures, too, particularly the 'pirate' ship.

Just how do they get the donations out of that Piggy Bank?

I'm a sucker for orange in colour images as even on that dull day it pops! And also a sucker for B&W image, nice, I'll give you a bonus point ...

Lovely first outing Antony, and each image is even better at the larger size! I wish you guys would stop trying to tempt me! I told myself I wouldn't buy another APS-C after getting the K1 MkII but the experiences and results posted here are tempting me out of my shell

Thanks, gents, for your encouragement. I'm thinking of getting round the fixed screen blight by using ImageSync and possibly mounting my mobile on the hot shoe mount.

Cracking set. That camera looks like a winner.

The lack of a flip screen is an annoyance. I use my Ref A right angle to compensate for that. It works with all the 35mm film and digital cameras. Worth finding in the used market I like the rotation and the 2x features.
