Shhhh! Not so loud - I'm trying to keep it quiet in case all the Lightroom users get wind of it.
Very nice B&W shot above there - I feel here you've got a great balance of contrasting tones in the low mid to shadow areas, and the clarity & detail is great also.
By the way, what adjustments did you use in S...l...t?

That's a beauty Alistair - no need for HDR with a K-5! Exposure is spot-on here, no blown areas and plenty of scope as you have found to reveal details in the darker areas.
It suits the BW well and the conversion is great.

I am enjoying learning the ropes on sage.
I boosted the exposure and then fiddled with the smart contrast. sometimes its ok and other times i prefer lightroom. Ill most likely buy it though.
