First Images using K10

Dear All,

Ok, the moment of truth.. Having been playing with different exposures and Shutter Speeds, I've attached my best two images for your opinions. I welcome the constructive criticism..

"Candles on Window"


1/180 @F8.0

Both of these images have been touched up using Photoshop Elements. I feel that with the flower, the Window might be distracting..? Once I get more confident with PS, I can start moving things around..

I think I explained myself incorrectly.. I didn't mean to reposition items, etc but to clone out such things as shadows or distracting parts..
