First attempt at street photography

I decided that my KP and DA70 is inconspicuous enough for me to have a go at street photography whilst doing the shopping at Ludwigsburg market this morning.

I channeled a TLR waist-level setup by using the screen on a tilt with live view and cropping to 1:1. The keeper rate was better than expected, about 20% or so.

All processed quickly in the camera, just a bit of contrast and selection of a filter for the B&W conversion.

These are good! I'd like to have the courage to take photos like these, but .... Landscapes are so much easier!

Thanks for the generous comments. I am interested in pursuing more of this style but am a little concerned about the legalities of it in Germany.

I took a look for you and in Germany, if it's classed as a portrait, you need their permission BUT! If they're part of the landscape, you're in the clear!
