Thanks for that - someone on the other forum had a link to a Pentax.EU site with the update.
I'll still wait for the official version, and hope it solves the flash problem.

Updated this A.M.
Just tried the Contrast AF and it does seem to be improved, no mention of any flash exposure fixes though, I don't use flash but may buy a decent one when money allows,so if anyone else has updated and does use them maybe you could comment?
All ISO sensitivity settings can be used on Bulb mode,
Compatible with SDXC memory card, Ain't got one of these yet but would like to know if this works too...:arrow:

I just posted this in another thread before I remembered that I had started this one (getting old / memory ). Anyway, here it is as well:
Installed the new firmware a short while ago. I have had a quick mess about with the flash and encouragingly I got decent exposure with tilting the flash up or to the side. Let's hope it stays that way.
Regarding the focus issue, I never seemed to have had any problems or maybe I am not good enough to notice

I spoke with Pentax UK support a couple of hours ago because I wanted to know what was happening about the overexposure problem with flash photography. The guy said that a firmware update, version 1.02, is to be released any time. Someone on the 'other' site has said that it is due to be released on the Japan site tomorrow.
Here's to hoping the problem is sorted out.
