Fireworks

Local council run firework display last night, cold but got one or two decent shots. I quite like the spotlight in this showing the crowd, but should I crop it out?

I think cropping would leave the photo unbalanced Steve. I like it as it is.

Nice shot Snappy, I like the detail in the crowd the fact that you can see where the fireworks are launched from and also the glow of the city in the background.

I'd be tempted to create a square crop to loose the left hand 25% of the pic to see what it looks like, you still retain the crowd, launch site and city lights but just loose the bright light which draws the eye.

Very good. Also agree with Hullman. To me, however, it looks like the horizon is sloping a bit to the right?

I like it too - top shot and great to see the people on the ground as well as the fireworks. The way they are lit is very cool

For me, i think i'd cropped the light in the left side, and retain the crowd because I think it give a story to the picture

leave it as it is if the spotline went the light on the crowd would look odd as the light souce gone lit from wrong direction to be the fireworks, I think it balances the whole thing.
