Like #3 and love #4, although the sharpness police might possibly disagree about the latter . For me it works.

Managed to make a quick PP sharpen and re-submit in time! Looks a bit better, thanks.

In hindsight, 1 is very soft as well.

Love number 2

It's not about what kit I've got, its about having the knowledge to use it to maximum potential.

I like #3. The boat has been there for a long time. A nice Image.

Kind Regards,

I'm just full of questions . . . It's the only way I learn anything! I have so, so, much to learn using my Pentax K100D DSLR

Had a tweak of No. 4 (my favourite) FWIW, mainly to brighten it a little.

Works OK as BW as well ...

Like No. 4 - those tweaked, but BW version looks for me slightly blue-ish.
Enjoy weekend

Love #3.

For me the big blue doors #2 needs a bit of work, Brighter and a chunk cropped off the right

It is Greg - I introduced a little split toning in LR, as straight de-saturation looked flat. Looks like it is a bit over-done ...

Tweaked boat shot is pretty good. I love finding places like that.
Best wishes,

Thanks berg, the brightened version is a great improvement.

Have made 2 a square crop and a little boost to the brass details and general brightness.

I liked number 2 as it was, I would have cloned out the white paint chips though as they are a little distracting & boosted the blue a little more.
