Favourite holiday places

I'm finding it increasingly hard to keep away from north west Scotland in the summer. Clachtoll, in particular, is rapidly becoming one of my favourite holiday places.

My favourite holiday spot is also on the NW coast- the Isle of Iona (not so very far from Clachtoll). It is a magnificent place (with a comfortable hostelry by the water's edge called the Argyll Hotel where we were lucky enough to have a couple of glorious days a fortnight ago). My modest pics serve as souvenirs, but scarcely do justice to the grandeur or atmosphere...

Those can't be Scotland - the sun is shining .

My favourite holiday spot is wherever I happen to be on holiday at the time.
