Such a wonderful place, and I was lucky enough to be there at the right time for the autumn colours - they were incredible.
These shots taken whilst travelling on The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway, from Durango to Silverton.
All taken with K3 and HD 20-40mm.

Like the shots especially the use of the railway as a lead in line.

Unusual to see photos on here using 40-40mm lens. I think its a good lens

I agree, I do like the 20-40mm for both it's quality and WR.

I'd love to go there. Beautiful colours and scenery.
Best wishes,

Cracking shots there ) the title sounds painful )

The 20-40 is one of those nearly lenses for me - I keep 'nearly' buying one but then keeping the cash instead.

I decided to go for the sigma 10-20 and then the 20-40 I just haven't got the second one yet.

Looking at these may push me into it next time there is an offer
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

You've put it onto my wanna go list
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

The trip, there and back, took about 9 hours or so. It was just a fabulous day, unforgettable. I shot about 150 images - I am so pleased with the results, and will be committing a selection to large prints and canvas!
