Yup, probably old stock.

It's quite obvious then that all of these fantastic low prices are old stock then.

I suppose when you look at the Pentax "scene" whenever someone wants a new body or lens SRS are always the first to be recommended ... therefore it stands to reason they will be the first to run out of old stock.

As Mike-P said, my local Curry's superstore has 4 in stock, body and 18-55 kit lens for £449 on clearance. Now thats a good price

i've checked on the Currys web site and with my local depot and there are no offers.

Your right they are not shown on the web. I've had a k200d from them which was a instore offer on a display model in one branch but I did see the same offer in another branch. Also have you checked with PC world they had some instore offers on Pentax gear as well.

Thanks for all your help & advice, i've just ordered one from Campkins in Cambridge plus 2 years Pentax warranty. I'm happy with that. Hope to pick it up within a week, can't wait.
