and an eye-fi card would combine for a nice combo?
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Last night when I was messing about outside chasing the moon across the sky at 500mm, the Eye-Fi really came into its own.

My vantage point was underneath my office window, and my router is in the office.

So I took a few pics, sauntered upstairs, and watched the last of them uploading.

Then I checked the exposures, sauntered back downstairs, and took a few more.

Convenient, or what

Loving it.

I often do that with flower, insect macros as well as the odd
bird shot

It should be possible to put the wireless router out on a window
ledge etc. for greater distance.

Sorry Don... I don't have an iPhone and even if I had I wouldn't
have that and the trigger hanging from my camera. I can fire
the camera from the house anyway with an RF-602.
