extended warranties

can anyone please tell me if Pentax extended warranties are available to purchase after a camera has already been purchased? (recently purchased, I mean). I know buying from a Pentax Pro centre is the ideal since they offer 2 years anyway, but even if you did that, can you buy a further year for example?
