extended eyepiece

Forever getting smears on my screen from my nose, I was wondering if there was an extender piece similar to the Nikon one that fits the K5.
It must be a familiar problem. My nose is not oversize. Any suggestions for overcoming this problem? please!

A clean nose?

It is possible to get eyepieces similar to that for Pentax, although all the ones I have seen are magnifiying eyepieces (so may limit field of view through the viewfinder - although help with manual focussing), and from an earlier vintage than the current cameras, and I am not sure whether they fit the current eyepieces. EDIT - i think the item in the link is called a Pentax finder magnifier-M.

Refconverter-A is a right-angle finder. Magnifier Fb is the magnifying eyepiece, but you need to flip that up to view the whole screen.

The K-7 I had came fitted with an excellent screen protector that never seemed to smear. Will try and found out which one it was (because I could do with the same on the K-5!!)

Perhaps it is my need to hold the camera tight to my eye to compensate for shaky hands that is my undoing, plus a skin that is naturally oily.
The refconverter does not help in this situation.
The Pentax finder magnifier would certainly help if I could find one.
The Nikon model is an extended viewfinder, similar to the Pentax magnifier M that keeps the eye away from the camera. Cannot establish if this will fit the K5.

It's unlikely the Nikon one would fit Pentax and the Pentax
O-ME53 Magnifying Eyecup doesn't stick out very far. All the
2x magnifiers only show part of the screen.

The KPS UMC Magnifying Eyepiece 1.35x is quite good and fits
Pentax. They also do the same thing without the magnifier, but
I'm quite sure that the magnifier can be screwed out of the
other one if not needed.

I'll finalize and collect in the morning. I've just agreed to
take all 4. I want 2 of them and I can do the other two for
£28 each inc. postage which is cheaper than Taiwan and no
import duty etc.

One's reserved for Thoramay the other one is available if
anyone wants it. They are new in sealed bubble packs
and it's the KPS 1.35x version.

I managed to get 5 of these so I have 2 to spare if anyone
wants one. £28 posted.

A few people on here have been asking about presription
eyepieces KPS also do a Universal Eyecup Set which looks
the same as the magnifying one except that it has a
plain glass lens. The idea is that you can replace this
(or even replace the magnifying lens on the other
model) with a prescription lens. The lens should be
15.3mm diam. and up to 3mm thick.

I've got one of them, but can't do it any cheaper than
£25 posted, but you would have in next day and not
have any import duty to pay.
