EXIF data

I have noticed that the images from my K-1, converted in Lightroom from Raw to JPEG, don't show the EXIF data in the gallery nor on Flickr. My earlier ones from the K-50 did so anyone know why and what I can do to rectify this?

What I've noticed, is everytime I update CC, the default export settings get reset to Meta Data - Copyright only; and I have to manually set it back to ALL. Drives me nuts but Adobe claims it's not there problem; yet fails to suggest how it could be mine....

How do you save your files? Save for Web strips out the EXIF info, so Save As may be the better option.

If all else fails, it is possible to edit some of the EXIF info after you have uploaded to the Gallery.

I work on dng files and then publish direct to Flickr from lightroom as a JPEG. Exif shows fine. However only got a single K-1 picture on Flickr at moment, which is set to private viewing.

I 'save as' in pdf to retain the original unaltered. I was about to blame the K-1 but remembered there was a Lightroom update at the same time so it could be the settings were affected.

In PDF?? Does that format support photo EXIF data? Shouldn't you save into an image format like jpeg, Tiff or Bmp?

I believe that PDF is most suited to mixed media' type documents, mainly for text and graphical things, perhaps including images. But its not really for saving pure photos I thought .....

I presumed he meant 'psd' - Photoshop format.
Best regards, John

Oh dear, I meant JPG! Sorry. I think I have found the problem - in Lightroom, export, there are options under metadata and mine was set to 'copyright only' but changing this allows the exposure & lens info. to be shown. Hopefully it will remember now.

My settings do not save to EXIF either. However, before I shot in RAW and was shooting jpg they did save. My bridge does show them tho.
