Fair enough, looks like an awesome project as well! Sorry we can't visit it, but I hope you have a fantastic success.

thanks. I decided to print large, up to 30" by 40" for some of the prints.
I find that the impact is better when prints are larger.
As I was bringing the photos into the pub a lady eating there said she loved one of my prints (trees, top left in image above) but she doesn't have the space for it. Made me feel good at least.
Even if none sell I'll have some nice photos to hang at home.
Cheers,
Patrick.

Congratulations Patrick, it must be a very proud moment for you. Unfortunately I can't make it over the water but I wish you all the best.

Best of luck to you Patrick. And well done on what is hopefully your first of many exhibitions.
I've had a look at your blog and there are some cracking images in there.
I was in Salthill last week at a communion so it will probably be another year or so before I get to go again.
Wishing you all the best from Wicklow.

Well done Patrick - I hope it goes well for you. It's a proud feeling to exhibit your work, and I know what you mean about large prints - I'm lucky enough to have an A3 printer, and the impact from this relatively small enlargement (compared to your 30x40's) is quite different from Internet sizes images

Looks a great exhibition - no wonder you are proud Patrick. My kind of exhibition too - great photos to view and a pint or two to go with it!

Congratulations too on your appearance in Reader Spotlight in next week's AP. It is great to see a Pentaxian featured for once and you have produced some great images.

I’m proud to announce that I have a photography exhibition, EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!! in this year’s Galway Fringe Festival.
The Galway Fringe Festival is a multidisciplinary Arts Festival encompassing visual art, music, theatre, dance, literature, cabaret, street spectacle and events and runs from July 12th to July 28th.
In today’s modern world most people seem to be in a rush and taking a moment to see the beauty in everyday life seems to be a lost art. In this eclectic photography exhibition I hope to re-kindle our appreciation of the world around us and remind us that EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!! A row of houses, a sculpture, an airplane and even beer bubbles, all photographed in Galway, are transformed into lasting memories.
My exhibition is currently on display in Oslo Bar, Salthill, Galway until July 28th. So please feel free to drop into Oslo Bar to view my exhibition and why not enjoy a pint of Oslo’s many craft beers.
Cheers,
Patrick.
