Looks like Lotherton Hall to me
Sorry to say those exposures are way off in the first few Carl, especially that Duck The Owl is spot on though, as is the African Starling, not an easy capture with the cages in the way either.

Great photos. I like the first crane, the owl and the Splendid Starling the most.
Though #6 is good too - looks like two ladies at Ascot having a moan because they are both wearing the same hat .

Yes it is Lotherton - I grant you the duck is a bit overcooked - but the reflection is pretty good OK confession time - uploaded the wrong duck

Nice shots, but the 55-300mm should be a lot sharper? Are you using at least f/8?

Sharper? compared to the shots I normally take of birds - I nearly cut myself on these if that owl was any sharper it would cut it's way through the wire mesh keeping it in!

I went for a drive in Sunday - really grey day - and only had the spare body in the car with the 55-300 attached as I had no expectations of a days photography - suddenly the sun came out and I found myself near a local bird garden so grabbed the Kr and went in.
Birds are not my usual subject but they all seemed to want to be photographed - here are a few random selections.
As always C+C welcome
