Hi and Welcome to the Forum. You're certainly in the right place for some landscapes to appear in the gallery.

The Eden Valley is one of the most beautiful areas of England. When I drive from Durham over Stainmore summit on the A66 and cross from Co. Durham into Cumbria I never cease to wonder at the amazing scene as you look across the Eden Valley towards the Lakes.

Thanks Barrie and Dave - I'm slightly spoiled for choice around here with the lakes on one side and the Eden Valley on the other. Thats some collection of lenses Barrie!
Most addicive hobby ever - just wish I'd taken it up sooner.

Thanks Barrie
It was getting a wee bit busy on there to be honest and I started to feel a bit of pressure on myself to regularly post decent images. I thought I'd rather come on here amongst other Pentaxians and just chill a bit - aim for my second year is just to become more technically proficient and improve my editing skills. Preparing for semi-retirement later this year so should have a bit more time

Brilliant photos, Mark. I haven't got through them all yet, but when I have the time.........
We almost moved to the Eden Valley, but moved to France instead. Sometimes I miss that scenery.
I bought my first DSLR, a K-x too, last week. I have a bit of catching up to do to reach your standard, but it is inspiring to see what you have done.
I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here with all these nice people.
Cheers,
ds

Welcome Mark - I dislike you intensely already !!!!!!! Those shots of the Lakes are AMAZING - never looks like that when we go - but then that`s the beauty of the PUF - always spurs one on to greater things - like our friend Andrew Bwlchmawr - take no notice of Barrie , you only need about 25 lenses - hee hee.
Look forward to some comp entries from you too.
Regards ( honestly )
Tony

Intend to start posting a bit and trying to get a bit of critique on my landscape efforts - I opened a Flickr account but you don't tend to get an awful lot of critique on there.
