First one for me, what's it like with the foreground lightened a bit?

Very nice Spad. Maybe a touch of light painting on the building and sink hole to give them a bit more definition and interest but not so much that would over power your night sky.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

I tried all sorts....
Took one just before dusk...
Light painted...
Long exposure.... and several more ideas BUT....
They all lost the subtlety that it needed not to take the emphasis off the stars!

Perhaps try two different photo's then. One with the stars over the low distant hills and just water in the foreground and a second photo of the building and sink hole during the morning, day or early evening, whichever suits your artistic taste best as this subject looks like it would be a very interesting subject in its own right. Probably suit monochrome as well. Just a thought!
Maybe some kind soul might loan you a nice new KIII Mono to experiment with.

They are composite images! I have 4 or 5 different foreground images...Perhaps try two different photo's then. Sorry Spad, my bad for failing to read the start of your thread. They are composite images! I have 4 or 5 different foreground images...

As for your left testicle, I'm sure there must be a market for these. Maybe try 'Preloved' for starters. If no immediate takers then perhaps you can temp a buyer with an option to buy your second testicle at half price. You can then afford to buy that new lens you are after as well.
Good luck with that!
