Hi there, i thought i'd ask as i'm a little confused. when using manual lenses and the camera asks for focal length, is it asking for marked, or equivalent?

what's the maths to work it out? (it's a k100d super if that makes a difference.

also, if using a 2x teleconverter.... is that still 2x? or does the crop factor also affect that?

I may be wrong but I think you just put in the lens size, as in 50mm lens you input 50mm. No need for the 1.5x nonsense.
I'm only 4fut3, but I look a lot bigger from a distance

Nikon D600, 18-55, 50 F1.8, Sigma 70-200 HSM,180macro.
MZ-7, K-10,K-7, all gripped.
Pentax 35 28-80
Sigma 50 EX Macro.
A sexy little Q with 8.5mm Prime.
And a cup with a gorrila on it, it's also chipped a little, but holds tea perfectly well.

ok so middle of the stated range. unless shooting exclusively at one end. thanks

if using 2x converter on a 200mm lens... input 400mm?

I would, but other people argue you should just use 200mm, as that's the lens
