OK everyone I am sure this subject has not been on the forum or any other competitions... But I thought this would be interesting. Making us photographer more aware of what we see, taking a second look! "Faces" Not portraits of people’s faces, but images of face that can be seen in a object , or the shape of a face in some kind of object, material or whatever.

Example : I saw one in our main gallery by bwichmawr " The Green Door" added 20/05/2010... Please have a look. I often have seen the image of faces in many ordinary object.

Let your imagination roll... I will be judging on how well I can see the face., the quality of picture, and how creative you are in finding faces that are unique.

Same rules as usual: No pictures taken before May 26th Competition ends on June 9/2010 at 6pm .

Taken with a Pentax camera, all EXIF must be attached or included with the posted photo.

I believe Darlene is referring to this shot - I may be wrong as it was posted on the 18th.

Whilst 'acting as waiter' at lunchtime, I noticed that my father's soup had a face in it, but decided that I could not really ask him to delay eating whilst I found a camera etc.

But then I discovered that my own soup also had a face, so I was able to 'grab' a quick shot whilst everyone else started

Not a technically perfect shot, but the chef was getting restless

Delicious soup as well

Kx + Sigma 30, taken this morning, Cropped & Sepia PP.

It looks like a face in profile to me, maybe a horse or a monster... if you see it you do, if you don't...well wasn't that the point?

I believe its accidental placement of knots, this is the carved bench its taken from.

p.s.
Oooh my first competition entry. Its only to stop me staring cross-eyed at every crack in the pavement!
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...
