My favourite has to be number 1. There's a serene and almost silky feel to the surface of the water, sand and sky. very calming and the muted colours work really well. I can't help but feel it's no quite straight though.

In the second one, the woman on the beach looks a little awkward to me, and detracts my attention from the rest of the shot.

The third one has a great sky, but the expanse of water doesn't do anything for me.

I love the fiery sky in the last shot, was it really that bright? Amazing! Again, I don't think the horizon is level in this one, and the boat kind of merges into the trees on the horizon, but the colours are great!

Number one is softened prior to sharpening.

Number two. I grabbed the shot only because of the woman.

Number three. The effect of the grad ND allows the colour of the water to show. Normally we would loose colour and detail due to the amount of light in the sky.

It does look as if it isn't level yet the in camera level said it was?

I have exactly the same problem with horizons. The camera will tell me it's level, yet when I get it on the screen at home, I always need to straighten the shot.

I understand what you've done to bring the detail out in the water in no. 3, but for me there's too much of it (water that is), and drags my attention slightly from the dramatic sky.

But apart from that I think it's a good set.

Some lovely shots there. The odd horizon in No 1 I think is in fact the barrel distortion that the 16-50 suffers from

Love the smooth silky look to no.1 - softened prior to sharpening? That's a new technique to me.
