Sepia for me, colour has to many distracting dark tones.

Stranglely for me I going to say colour too. The different tones and contrast of tones is lovely.

Colour for me. I've give it a little more contrast too ( without losing detail).
The sepia and black and white versions are flat and lack life.
A B&W version could be made to work, but not the one on offer.

As presented I prefer the colour option but I think it would be possible to make a much more punchy and attractive BW. The current conversion is a little flat.

I've gone for None in the survey (although I don't agree that it's rubbish). It's just not critically sharp in the right areas for me. The eye is not crisp, and it seems that the focus is at the top of the trunk, just infront of the eye.
If I had to choose, I'd say sepia - the skin's texture is still there and more noticeable without the colour tones being distracting. Personally I would reshoot, getting the focus in the eye and maybe a slightly greater depth of field, so that the whole image shows as much texture as possible.

This picture has grown on me a little. Any preference as to which tone suits the most? Colour version is straight from camera.
