E70L or M60?

I have a K100D, which I use mainly for sport and wildlife photography. But these days I don't have the opportunity to do much, so I was thinking of getting a pocket camera in order to capture anything that interests me as I go about my daily business.

I'd like something with a wide-angle lens, although don't have the funds for a P70 or W60. The E70L has a focal length of 32-96mm (35mm equivalent) which looks reasonable. However, for around the same money the M60 has a focal length of 36-180mm. I'd be interested to hear whether folk on here think it'd be worthwhile sacrificing a much better zoom for a camera with a slightly wider angle lens. Or would I be unlikely to notice much difference between the two?

Thanks in advance.
